i love the DVR on directv WAY better then cable dvr..
December 3, 2008 | bakersfield, California | Vetting explained
Comparing Directv DVR to cables dvr... There is no comparison... DIRECTV is WAY better... cable is limited in searches and menu options.. cable also makes you buy a small package in order to buy the "big" digital package..
Directv on the other hand gives you the option of different DIGITAL packages.. You can choose the smaller family package or a larger package for one price instead of paying for two packages (as cable dose) Sure cable has "on demand" but only when it works... Half the time we had cable the "on demand" didnt work, an error message kept coming up.. We went through two different "dvr's" from cable before going back to Directv.. The cable dvr always (EVERYDAY on BOTH boxes) reset itself and didnt record programs we set to record...

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
