For godly wisdom for President-Elect Barack Obama's choice for Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, that our nation's defense will be supervised and conducted as God desires No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. -Psalm 33:16-19 O Lord God, I praise and thank You today for Your love for all You have made. Thank You for the privilege of knowing You and belonging to You. You reign in power and majesty, and I worship You in appropriate fear and awe, for only You are holy. Today I thank you for guiding President-Elect Barack Obama to choose Robert Gates to continue as Secretary of Defense. Guide Secretary of Defense Gates as he plans for the shift from the Bush administration to the Obama administration, so the Department of Defense will be led and managed in a wise and godly way, and so that our troops will be well cared for. Encourage and strengthen him as he leads today, I pray in Your name, amen. iReport welcomes a lively discussion, so comments on iReports are not pre-screened before they post.
