iReport —

I believe Obama's plan to create a civilian defense force is meant to give another option for people who are considering joining the military because of the hard economic times we face.

This year all branches of the military have met and exceeded their enlistment goals, This is common during times of economic hardship.

The current crisis we face was allowed to happen in order to fill the military with people who not only want to serve their country, but by people who need somekind of income to support their families. Many times the military is the only solution.

The re-enlistment numbers have also risen in all branches (except the Air Force I believe). Again this is due to the economic hardships people face. When there are people losing thier jobs by the tens of thousands (over 200,000 in november alone) its pretty much a given that retention rates will climb.

I believe Obama wants to undo the plans of the Neo-Cons in the republican party to enter us into a new world war.

Why would these people want a World War? Because War is a big money generator for the War and death profiteers. People like the Bush family who have made billions on war going way back to when Prescott Bush helped fund Adolf Hitlers war Machine and raked in the blood money. This is not unique. Bankers and money men have been funding both sides of every world conflict since before WWI.

Obama is a man of integrity and compassion. He does not see us as cattle like many of the elite in our society do. To these folks we are nothing but cattle to be fleeced and our lives traded for gold to enrich a very small minority.

At this point In history I believe Americas best days are behind us unless we can stop the constant state of war and fear that this country continues to rely on to boost our economy.

There are better ways to keep the wheels turning other than throwing our children into the meatgrinder.
