Going All Out On Flat Iron Farm
December 3, 2008 | Southern, Maryland | Vetting explained
Way down in Southern Maryland about Thanksgiving time, Flat Iron Farm opens it's gates to the public for a Christmas wonderland of lights.
Tractors, farm equipment, old horse carriages and buggies are outlined in lights as well as Santa Claus, elves, Frosty, angels and of course The Manger Scene.
You drive slowly through a cirlce around the front of the farm. If traffic is not backed up, you can get out to take photos.
All the locals look forward to this event from Thanksgiving until New Years Night.

The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
