MC Lars Change The World (Black Precedent) Written by Brendan B Brown & MC Lars Directed by Matthew Milligan Almost a year ago, Brendan Brown of Wheatus and MC Lars began working together on a song about the exciting prospect of Barack Obama running for President, and all of the history that has eventually led us to this point. At that time, his ability to secure the nomination was almost laughable. But now, as the end draws nearer, it is looking more and more like that prospect could very well come true. We recorded this track then, and a few weeks ago returned to it, got it all mixed and mastered, and then created an accompanying video. And here it is. The song is currently up for sale at http://amiestreet.com/wheatus for a VERY low price. Get it now!! We know that there are a lot of people out there with very different political affiliations than our own, but the core of this song is really all about the history of black Americans, and the long road we've traveled to finally be at a point where Barack Obama could run for President of the United States.
