Snow in Port Arthur Texas instead of hurricanes
December 11, 2008 | Port Arthur, Texas | Vetting explained
Pictures taken at our home in Port Arthur, Texas after the snow hit our area starting at 1 a.m. December 11, 2008.. Our dogs did not like the snow at all and wanted back inside and away from the snow. We have had three hurricanes hit our area in the last three years so this snow was a delightful surprise and a break from the hurricanes...Hurricane Ike hit us just three months ago now we have snow, you gotta love Texas, we have it all!!!..

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
