Freaky Weather
December 15, 2008 | Vetting explained
I'm located in Central Pennsylvania--an area surrounded by beautiful mountains and is no stranger to the cold and snow. But today, however, unlike many people across the country, our part of the world is experiencing unseasonably high temperatures.
We have highs in the mid-50s today which is very unusual for these parts. Going outside it feels more like spring then mid-December. Our weather is supposed to drop 20 degrees tomorrow for a more seasonable high of the mid-30s and we're supposed to get ice pellets.
Good luck to all experiencing bad weather! Looks like we'll be joining you soon enough.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
