Throughout the recent numerous and unending news articles and cable news segments regarding the failures of Wall Street to recognize its demise, what really happened during the gap between the good times and Wallstreet's "reality check"? Now I've watched analysts on CNBC, CNN (and I love you Ali Velshi), and the likes of others, however in "the between"(green arrow pointed upwards then downwards), I can't recall hearing of any warning signs that our American Financial District was in jeopardy of a major decline, until it actually occured.

While the Presidential Elections may have taken away from most of the obvious business/financial news, the devastation this has caused to us, The American People, whom have invested in various mutual funds simply because we have learned from the doom of Enron to "diversify "our portfolios, has been and is too great, so I do not realistically believe that the diverted public-attention from Wall Street's troubles was a surprise-in-the-making, even to said "experts".

Where does it leave U.S., Americans? The American poeple are being spoken for by our Politicians, more directly in the biggest of ways at present It's as if they passed the TARP in order for the survival of American's, but where is the TARP money going and how is it helping us? Refer to the unemployment rate, TODAY. And how did it help me and my "diversified" portfolio? Huh?

Where was Damage Control during any of the domino-effect national financial embarrassments?

Now we have "THE big THREE"....Another huge dilemma on our hands, placed upon OUR Shoulders....! And would someone please tell them the "Friday the 13th" killing music is not helping at this point.........................................!

I truly feel that we American's have been Underepresented, especially when personally, I've never been addressed in my wonderful State of Texas when it comes to the Earmarks that has been received in the last few years, nor that it would benefit me or other Texans for the 'dire' needs of "special projects" that could help certain Political fronts in my state.

$2.2 BILLION has been allocated in earmarks, and Texas is not even the top-recipients of what they call special projects.

What "burns my britches" (an old-addage in TEXAS and my Grandmother's favorite saying) is that the town of Galveston has suffered from one of the most devastating Hurricane's in American history, Sir Ike, with all dieu respect. Any money set-aside for what should've been the obvious? It's always been a major concern that Galveston has been eroding due to salt-water. Now factor-in the Hurricane season.

Seems the pattern of Wall Street behavior is mirrored by our Politicians....wasteful spending and GREED!

The Houston Ship Channel received $17Million overseen by the Corp of Engineers, El Paso received $22Million for an Army gymnasium(I do support our troops, but not the "cartwheel" center" in that capacity). Keeping it simple, Texas received a couple BILLION in earmarks, but the "hood" (our ghetto's and wards) still looks the same, military defense spending reflects very little, no new facilities, but a few base closures have been announced, and education here in Texas has suffered the most. Bottom line, what do we do now and how long do we play along in order to get something for something, since we American's are the real giver's in QUID QUO PRO, but WHAT have we ever gotten into return? NOTHING, but the shaft! ..

Education by far hasn't received the attention it deserves even with the monies from the Texas Lotto system in which we intended to have it funded from its commisions...so you see where I'm going with all this.

FORGET about the SUB-PRIME bubble that "supposedly" burst on WALL STREET, this has been an epidemic across our country's Political offices with requests for absurdities and misappropriations, and collectively has landed on WALL STREET, now spilling over to MOTOWN. Now the "band" is at risk of being disbanded(couldn't resist as cheesy as it may be, but truthful), maybe even rightfully so, but where do we all go from here, and who should we Americans trust, but ourselves?

Let me add, in all seriousness, Crack is Whack, and it destroys our under-priveledged neighborhoods.  But just the same so does political and financial corruption destroy the fabric of American Democracy.  You can't fight one harder than the other, as both spectrums are equally what justice should focus on.  There has been more oversight in the ghetto's across this country than there has been for the unprecedented Financial Crimes that have now unraveled a $50Billion PONZI scheme headed by the thief-of-the-century, BERNIE MADOFF, who ultimately was exposed by his sons. More than 20 years he's scammed wealthy Americans, but with no oversight!  Crack dealers have swat teams serveilling them in rat-infested homes, and it serves them right. But where is the FINANCIAL SWAT TEAM??? THIS MADOFF SCANDAL HAS TO BE THE END-ALL OF HEDGE-FUNDS, AND ALL LOTTO, GAMBLING,PYRAMID SCAMS THAT WALLSTREET BREEDS.

BTW, BANK OF AMERICA SUCKS along with my Credit Card Companies I've been faithful with for years, YOU Credit Nazi's Suck Too(I'm going too far, although anger management class has helped me a bit)!  IT'S ALL A JOKE AMERICA!

Now that I've spoken my "peace", I'd like to take the time to STRIKE MY STILLETO AT ANY AND ALL WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DOWNFALL OF TRUE AMERICANA AS WE KNEW HER....!
