Hail in San Francisco?

We don't suffer much -- weather-wise -- in San Francisco. An earthquake will rattle the heck out of us every 25 years or so. But last night, in the wee hours, hail pelted the City by the Bay heavier than we'd seen in a while. I shot these photos during my morning commute this morning. Cheap thrills, I know.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
