Arctic Blast Hits Portland
December 24, 2008 | Portland, Oregon | Vetting explained
Portland is buried in snow! This video was shot Dec. 22nd-24th and highlights the recent snowfall in Portland. Featured is the Portland Aerial Tram which is free to ride during days like this and the Portland Streetcar which runs 24 hours a day right now in order to keep the tracks clear. Portland is the city that still works! I threw in a couple of cars sliding down icy hills for safe measure and then put the whole thing to festive music. Everything goes better with music! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
