After 4 years of developement, Grand Theft Auto 4 is finally here for the PS3 and 360. Though technically this is Grand Theft Auto 6, after Vice City and San Andreas, it is a next generation game.

In GTA 4, you play an Eastern European man named Nico. A fresh face in Liberty City (New York City basically), he is determined to start a new life here and earn his fortune. To say the least, it will not be an easy task for him. With the help of his cousin Roman, Nico starts climbing his way to the top of the criminal empire. No thug, thief, or sociopath will stand in his way.

GTA 4 takes full advantage of the PS3's hardware when it comes to graphics. The game world is a lot more detailed than San Andreas was on the PS2. The world is huge. You can spend hours exploring the city, find a whole lot of neat stuff on the way.

My only problem with this game is that it tends to freeze sometimes. Most of the time the game will snap out of it but one time it required a restart of the console.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone owning a PS3 or 360. It blows the previous 3 games out of the water. A reminder though, this game is rated M for Mature so no one under the age of 17 should play it.
