New Year's Resolution
January 4, 2009 | Vetting explained
Thanks for watching my New Year's Resolution video. It's my first attempt at editing through iMovie so it's a bit choppy. Sorry!
If you haven't watched the video, my name is Giyen and I live in Seattle, Washington. I am a freelance writer and blogger. You can find me at www.baconismyenemy.com.
This year my New Year's Resolution is to say "yes" more often to life experiences, things that I might not ordinarily do and things that I've been wanting accomplish.
My primary goal for the year is to finally say "yes" to being skinny. I have been battling my weight ever since my child was born ... 14 years ago! I would like to get back to my prepregnancy weight of 120 lbs, but really I would just be happy with being healthy and active.
I hope to update every Sunday as time permits. Say hello and introduce yourselves below. I would love to hear from you and if any advice you have for making resolutions "stick."
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
