Our Beautiful Boy Jake
January 4, 2009 | Long Beach, California | Vetting explained
Our beautiful boy Jake was run over by a car in front of our house on 9/2/07. Jake was 16 and the youngest of our three boys. He was a talented musician and athlete. His brothers miss him terribly and his father and I are changed forever by our grief.
After 16 months I wonder if the pain will ever ease. I wake up talking to him and go to sleep thinking of him. It is so hard to comprehend that he is really gone. This is a pain that cuts you to your core.
Watching Jake's friends do all the things he should be doing is painful. All his plans for his life and all our dreams for him gone, Sometimes there are just no words for the sadness we feel.
I will continue pray for the Travolta's as they go through their journey.
