Alcoa says it's cutting about 13% of its global work force and slashing spending and output due to the economic slowdown. A spokesperson for Alcoa says there will be workers laid off at its Davenport Works, they just aren't sure how many people will be affected.ALCOA emplys arond 200,000 people globaly and will be cutting more than 13,000 jobs globaly.
