This is not as embarrassing as coming out of the closet and saying that my favorite album of all time is "Abbas-greatest hits"..... it's not.....honestly, but the first record, cassette tape, and CD that I totally dug, and continued to replace throughout the years, was Boston's 1976 self titled album, "Boston"

I love reggae, punk, funk, ska, grunge, jazz, the blues, alternative/underground, jam bands(the Dead/Phish), bluegrass, anything from the 60's, hardcore metal, maybe a little classical, even a country song or two as long as it dosn't whine me to death, but hearing "More than a Feeling" and "Rock and Roll Band" by Boston gives me that old, "Man, high school is one big awesome party" kind of feeling.

Those basic, American rock and roll songs, by a band who had bigger afro's than any Motown group, backdropped our nights of sneaking out till 3AM, and our days of playing Frisbee in Walnut Grove Park next to the high school where we were supposed to be going to class.

Those were the days....Boston was my band.
