After over 12 years in high tech, working with Avid, Kodak and Adobe, I left the corporate world to follow my passion, went back to school and started 4TheLuvOfDogz. As a Certified Canine Massage Therapist, I offer a mobile canine massage service, working with dogs pre- and post-surgery, dogs with various physical and behavioral issues, and offer the spontaneous Birthday and Special Occasion massage. My four footed clients love me, their companions are amazed with their progress, and the feeling of overwhelming happiness I receive by helping these families is priceless. I also teach Agility, working with puppies to older dogs. Yes, an old dog can learn a new trick! Students enjoy the positive atmosphere I offer to play, learn and bond with their dogs on the agility field. Some students continue to complete in the agility world; while others continue with classes for the fun of it. I enjoy watching teams learn and progress, bonding togther in a unique way. The third part of my business are 4TheLuvOfDogz homemade, natural dog treats. I cook for my dogs, they get no kibble nor canned food; and once my clients had a taste of the treats I make, they asked for more! So, now I'm in the process of researching the best online shopping experience to offer my customers. The best part of starting my home business is working with clients and seeing them progress in positive ways, knowing I had a 'hand' in their changes. Dogs don't lie, and the greetings I receive when I arrive at their home, tails wagging, kisses, excited play bows, all signs that what I do has a positive affect on their lives. The worst part is finding financing in these times. As I expect to grow significantly this year, I know I'll be exploring various options to help me grow and add to my company. My goal is to purchase property and hire people to grow 4TheLuvOfDogz into the clear vision I have, fulfilling my business plan path. As to how is feels to be on my own, I love it; and it is both harder and easier than I thought. People have reached out to me in ways I never expected, and friends I have made along the journey are wonderful - both four and two footed! I love what I do, it's my passion.
