Bush analysis from Canada
January 13, 2009 | Montreal, Quebec | Vetting explained
I looked over CNN news today, and just had to comment about what bush said and whether these last 8 years have been good for the U.S.. Well yes the U.S. is in shabbles now, but here in Canada things are going very well. For example housing has not collapsed, and I this is the reason. We have free health care, we do not need insurance to pay for medical costs. As a result whenever a health crisis occurs there is no need to lose the house or get a mortgage to pay for health care. Canada is not a communist country and yet we free health care. Our economy is very much like the U.S. but our political spectrum is at the center. Yes this is a good balance. We only believe in war if it helps people out, for example Rwanda, Afganistan, the problem with Bush is that the republicans make it seem like they are religious and yet there is alot of war and suffering that is caused by the republic hawks. This is the problem. I am wealthy and I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes to support health care. A person making about 50000.00 pays about 28% in taxes, but he gets free healthcare. Yes it is not totally bush's fault, the U.S. people have to wake up and smell the coffee. They need to see that life is not based on consumption, for example the U.S. consumes 30% of the world's oil, if people would drive more earth friendly cars and change their lifestyle like in Europe the planet would be better off. Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth..
