Men Stoned to Death in Iran

Two men in Iran were stoned to death about twenty days ago for heinous acts of murder and adultery. The way they died was that they were buried up to their chests and people pelted them with stones until they died. Last year, Amnesty International said, "Stoning is a horrific practice, designed to increase the suffering of those facing execution, and it has no place in the modern world." As of now, the Islamic Iranian government is trying to make it illegal to stone people to death, but until then, they are advising judges to aviod stoning. Of cource, most judges take no heed to these statements, and I personally believe that if a person were to do such heinous crimes, they deserve to die.
