Danville, PA very cold with snow on ice on snow

It is very cold with a low expected of 2F tonight and -1F tomorrow night.
The ground is covered with five or more inches of snow on top of 1/4 inch of ice on top of snow.
The small stream beside our house normally flows but is now almost completely covered with ice.
The squirrels and birds were out this morning and searching for food.
We often put food out for them. The family of three squirrels spends a lot of time in our backyard.
