We The People Short Film #3 - Songwriter and the Student
January 24, 2009 | Washington, District of Columbia | Vetting explained
CNN IReport Film Festival winner Mike Dennis created a series of 13
original short films from footage captured during his trip to the 2009
Presidential Inauguration. Capturing the sights and sounds the day
before and the day of the event, his goal was to provide a tapestry of
thoughts and feelings from those who made the pilgramage to witness
this truly historical event.
In Short Film # 3, we meet songwriter Glen C. Campbell who was inspired in May to write a song in tribute to Obama. Jonathan Smith is a college student from Georgia, who was one of 5000 future leaders invited to a weeklong symposium centered around the Inauguration.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
