July 20, 1969 - Apollo 11 Lunar Landing
January 31, 2009 | Derry, New Hampshire | Vetting explained
The Apollo project was a testiment to American inginuity, skill, courage and resolve. Anyone who was alive at that time will never forget the excitement leading up to the landing and the pride once it was accomplished. You bet I'd like to relive that day. And maybe we will. Hopefully we'll be seeing humans return to the moon in the not to distant future.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
