WITH NO WORK IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, I MOVED TO TIMONIUM MARYLAND AND RECIEVED A JOB FROM A COMPANY I WAS EMPLOYED WITH PRIOR..MY HUSBAND STAYED IN FLORIDA AS HE HAS A FULL-TIME JOB..AND NOW WE LIVE 1200 MILES APART..THE ECONOMY WAS TEARING DOWN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR MARRIAGE AND DEPRESSION HAD SET IN...SO I SET OUT TO CHANGE THE WAY I FELT..AND I DID..NOW WE BOTH MANAGE ON OUR OWN PAYCHECKS...OUR BILLS ARE PAID..I GOT RID OF MY CAR AND CAR PAYMENT AND PAID CASH FOR A USED CAR..I DONT HAVE CABLE TV.AND I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT WHERE THE UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED.I FURNISHED MY ENTIRE PLACE FROM THE "FREE" SECTION ON CRAIGSLIST AND GOING TO A LOCAL AUCTION..MY APARTMENT IS NICELY DONE FOR UNDER $150.00 AND YOU WOULD BE SUPRISED AT HOW NICE IT IS..I USE TO SHOP AT NORDSTOMS NOW I FIND WHATEVER I NEED AT GOODWILL OR AT THRIFT STORES..I NO LONGER SPEND FOOLISHLY, I DONT GO OUT, OR ATTEND MOVIES..BUT I WILL GO TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARY WHERE YOU CAN GET MOVIES FOR FREE..THIS IS HARD TIMES FOR EVERYONE..BUT YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE FAITH THAT WHEN WE COME OUT OF THIS RECESSION MAYBE JUST MAYBE WE ALL WILL HAVE BECOME SMARTER WITH OUR MONEY AND WISER WITH OUR DECISIONS..

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
