FOLKS! I receive tons of these emails a day. I suggest all of you subscribe to the FDA's announcements. I found out about the peanut butter and all these other announcements before they hit the media. Please pay attention to ALL the recently added products on the FDA's list of contaminated food. We have listeria, botulism and added to the peanut problem, we now have soy and cheese. Some of these products are in health food stores too, and some are certified organic. There is also a list of medication not fit for consumption due to poor practices in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). This is GRAVE! http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/ethex01_09.html Please write the White House with your concerns about tainted foods and/or medication. This HAS TO STOP! ADD SOY to your list: http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/genisoy02_09.html and peanuts in general! http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/gki02_09.html listeria: http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/cropwellbishop01_09.html please add botulism to your NOT-to-do list: http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/stonewall01_09.html THIS IS THE NEW WEBSITE that the FDA has made for JUST the peanut butter issue. More than 70 companies were affected - Please be careful! http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/salmonellatyph.html
