Ron and Irma Hardin
February 4, 2009 | Pomona, California | Vetting explained
My husband and I have a Beneficial acct. that was opened 10/30/06 in the amt. of $10,000 at an monthly per. rate of 24.92%. We have made payments on time since then, We last made a payment in Jan. in the amt. of $363.00. The finance charge was $224.18. Our previous balance after two years of making timely payments was $9,496.35 and with a new balance of $9,457.53 after Jan.'s installment.
I have read and re-read the loan ageement and and it does not state anywhere why such a high finance charge is debited to our acct. making it impossible to payoff. \
Beneficial is our neighborhood loan shark.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
