DIY Wedding
February 9, 2009 | Memphis, Tennessee | Vetting explained
My fiance and I are super excited about our upcoming wedding on September 5, 2009. We are closely sticking to a budget of $15,000. My parents are contributing $6000 and his parents around $2000. I am made cutbacks by opting to print my own invitations and programs, not hiring a wedding planner, cutting the grooms cake, and borrowing a tiara and flower girl basket from friends who recently got married. I am also a bargain hunter, I shop the clearance sections at most stores and look for online deals for shoes and accessories. We will definately be having a Wal mart and Dollar Tree wedding.

iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
