McAlester Tornado *MAY 10*
I intercepted this Tornado as the Supercell built just NNE of Ada,
OK. These photos were taken between 5:05PM CDT and 5:26PM CDT on
Hwy 270. This storm chase started in far Eastern Hughes County near
the town of Stuart when the funnel initiated.
The final photo was taken at 5:26PM CDT near the town of Haywood in Eastern Pittsburg County when the Tornado cross the turnpike. I was unable to continue this particular storm given the path this tornado took and highways within close range.
