She's from California and I'm from HAWAI'I...
February 15, 2009 | bakersfield, California | Vetting explained
Not going into details of how we meet.. (want to keep people awake not watch them fall asleep, lol) Someday i will show her and the dogs where i came from and what schools i went to back home and the restaurants i love and miss.. (besides my family and relatives) Then she will understand what i miss about being back home on O'ahu... (besides the clear skies, clean air, clean ocean, lol) Cant show her my dad's family home in Kahuku now that the old road next to the sugar mill is blocked off before the right turn (by a chain) and the tall weeds and the fact that the land owner tore the homes down in the area back in the eighties... (lot of good memories at Kahuku and Kahuku beach)

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
