fix or grow
February 17, 2009 | olean, New York | Vetting explained
There comes a time for everyone when they have to decide what to do with a problem. That is to push it and hope you keep it going, shut it down and fix it or tear it apart and build it to suit.. or even better yet ,be aware enough and speak up before it happens. I have yet to put the motive behind allowing the economy to fail but i know it didnt originate at wall st. how can i be so much aware of what goes on around me without cameras and computors keeping track of every card swipe and large money transactions.. A friend of mine started a business last november.to make it short ,i knew something was wrong and after a little digging he found out the owner of the building hasnt paid the taxes in 3 years.. So , is it better to fix the corruption on the wasteful high end or to stop it where our children will take over... My awareness has saved a mans business in which he and his wife put everything in to make it and still treading water. Even though he could go without spending time and money at court we will make sure his establishment will succeed..

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
