Died on April Fool's Day - but, NO joke .\/.
February 22, 2009 | Vetting explained
Marvin Gaye was born April 2, 1939 and died April 1, 1984
Marvin Gaye, Vocal Legend of Motown during the 60-70's. Marvin died addicted to drugs and spiritually tortured; in search of peace.
During his paranoid state of mind, this man's voice, was as a beacon of light, rapped in song' during the unrest of the nation, during the 60's an i many ways, was the voice of our people.
His music feed our hearts and mind through a very painful time of existence in America. His music was an outlet for our minds, along with our achy hearts - daring us to think outside of the box. I will forever be grateful for Marvin Gaye. for he continues to inspire me, to this very day.
