China Earthquake Day 2 No More School

Day after May 12th China Earthquake
Liangping County, Chongqing Municipality, Wenhua Town
Scenes around the Wenhua Central School Tuesday May 13th which collapsed. According to the students there were several casualties, though the exact number is not known. 3 students, two boys and one girl reported being crushed and killed by a falling pillar as they ran out of the school. In this town, only this school collapsed which brought speculations about the soundness of the buildings. A grieving mother holds an award certificate given to her son the same day he was killed in the school. Heavy equipment was brought in to help in the efforts. People remained outside their homes during the day. Many students returned to the site of their former school to see the damage. Families were reunited and groups of students stood in a line to have their photo taken.
