What one CPA would like to hear
February 24, 2009 | St. Helena, California | Vetting explained
Hi Campbell -
What I'd like to hear in tonight's address is that the president will begin to treat us taxpayers more like shareholders in the US Economy. I'd like to see him lay out the plan and his economic objectives for the next several years, the assumptions underlying those plans and the key indicators we can all look forward to reviewing in the coming year.
How about a quarterly report to shareholders where the president reports on economic progress and we measure our collective performance against the plan.
These planning and reporting systems instill confidence in investors- it oughtta work for taxpayers!
Thank you.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
