Heck Yes I'm Afraid to Invest the Stock Market-Aren't You?
March 4, 2009 | Ohio | Vetting explained
In response to this latest assignment which caught my attention, I can't imagine who isn't a bit scared to invest in the market at this point. It's a place for the "pros" who have a better understanding then myself, of what has been happening over the years and what is taking place right now.
I have spent quite a bit of time reading and getting various opinions from others who are well versed in this area. And guess what? I'm more confused now, more than ever.
There are so many different takes on this, some suggest this is the "perfect" time to dive in, while others warn to stay away, we haven't hit the bottom yet. I can't afford to watch more money disappear.
Of course, I know that things will rebound, but when?
If I were in my 20's, I probably would dive in, as some have suggested, but I'm not.
And with all the latest fraud schemes coming to light, which have sporadically occured over the years, but none to the levels we are seeing now....it makes me more weary of taking that chance of losing even more.
I'd really like to hear what others are thinking at this point.
