Oakland, California Official Diagonal Crossing
March 4, 2009 | Oakland, California | Vetting explained
This is the first time I have seen a legal pedestrian diagonal cross walk. I understand there are others in San Francisco, CA. Is this entirely novel to the Bay Area or you know of this happening else where? Could you tell me it this is something existing in your town.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
