24 Hours in ... Marrakesh, Morocco
March 8, 2009 | Marrakesh, Morocco | Vetting explained
I'm always being asked, as a travel writer, which are my favourite places to visit.
People are often surprised to discover that my favourite countries are currently Poland and Morocco.
This short film gives a little taste of Marrakesh, Morocco - a lovely city, with great bargains (gentle haggling only!), tasty food and wonderfully friendly local people - especially when you're spending
money!
I'm dedicating this film to my good friend Nassar Khalil, who's taking his family there this week, on my recommendation.
Have you been there?
Is there anywhere in Europe you'd like to see a film on - suggestions welcome!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
