LTTE Suicide Blast Targets Police Bus in Sri Lanka [UPDATED with photos]
AN LTTE suicide bomber on a motorbike rammed a Police bus carrying Police Constables near Sri Sambodhi Viharaya at Fort today (16) at about 12.00 noon. The Police officers were for duties in connection
with a protest campaign, scheduled to begin in the centre of colombo.
Initial reports said at least thirty Police officers had sustained
serious injuries in the suicide blast and were admitted to colombo National hospital.
