Getting out of Ski Country
March 17, 2009 | Keystone, Colorado | Vetting explained
My family owns and manages SummitCove Keystone Vacation Lodging in Keystone, CO. We love everything about the mountains and snow. We enjoy a day on the slopes, snowshoing, and sledding more than anything in the world and consider ourselves lucky to live here. But, by the time April rolls around, we are so ready to get away from the cold weather and hills. We dream about a warm beach where we can lay around for hours and not feel guilty that we are not taking advantage of the great snow. We long for the days when we don't need a ski parka and will not be lugging our snowboards around. This year we have a trip to San Diego planned. We are looking forward to exploring Legoland, the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. We would love to hear any suggestions about where to stay and what else to do in the area.
