These photos were taken last night at the Armstrong Ranch, in south Texas during a fund raiser for a local museum. This grass fire started earlier and burned over 1000 acres.
There has been no serious rain in the ranch country area since October.
The Armstrong ranch is about and hour and half south of Corpus Christi, Texas and 28 miles north of Raymondville.
