BUSH'S IDEAS ABOUT TURKEY
Turkey gave women the rights of divorce, custody and inheritance in 1926 and political rights in mid 1930's. According to president bush Turkey is one of teh countries that ahs the light of freedom.. Which seems that Turkey was never free before.. Sorry but I hope that president bush understands that we will remain free unless he does not try to reach his freedom ideas to our country!
The woman in the picture is one of our first women pilots, Sabiha Gokcen. She was the first woman aviator in Turkey(1936) and the first woman combat pilot in the world(1937).
As a free woman, I'm feling sorry for the people living in many other Muslim countries... I feel free since I was born and I will be free till I die.. If a new member of bush family does not decide to become president!
