Aging in Place
March 31, 2009 | escondido, California | Vetting explained
I toured the home of the McCann's and 91 year old mother Lois Brokus. Betsy McCann talked her Mother-in-law into moving in with them to save money and keep the family connected.
I interviewed Todd Jackson (President of San Diego Chapter of NARI, National Association of the Remodeling Industry – along with President of Jackson Design & Remodeling). Todd talks about the trend.
"Obama's Mother-in-Law moving into the White House is bringing a national spotlight building Mother-in-Law suites and bringing the extended family together." said Todd Jackson

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
