Cigarette Tax Hype!
April 2, 2009 | Fullerton, California | Vetting explained
Ok, I'm very confused. I've been reading all this information about cigarette taxes going up and a pack going up to $6.-$8 a pack. Well, where I work we sell cigarettes, yesterday a pack of brand x sold for $4.78, today that same pack sold for $4.83.....come on, that's only 5 cents more. What's up, is my store messing up or something? Did your cigarettes go up any higher? Let me know.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and

on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
