Getting Back On Track Through The Grief
April 3, 2009 | Seattle, Washington | Vetting explained
Hi Everyone,
It's been about a month since I posted my last iReport video. March was incredibly hard with the passing of my Aunt so soon after my Uncle. She was only 77.
I would like to say that I've lost motivation, but I have more motivation to get healthy when faced with thoughts of my own mortality. However, it's hard to focus on weight loss through the grief - especially when I want to sleep all of the time and my heart hurts.
As always, I am trudging along slowly and trying not to be so hard on myself. But summer is coming and I don't want to spend another summer indoors, hiding away because of my self-esteem issues.
Take care,
Giyen

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
