While violence and chaos engulfs parts of Bangkok in most areas you would never know anything is happening except for the worlds largest water fight.
Songkran, the Thai new year, is in full swing in the main business districts and most parts of the country. This is a time to pay respect to you family, your friends and have fun. No burning buses here, not military, just "sanook"
