Too Young To Be Paying In!!!
April 14, 2009 | Coplay, Pennsylvania | Vetting explained
Hi, I am only 23 years old and this is the first time I had to pay in for my taxes. I had to take additional exemptions from my taxes last year so I could get a little back each pay to help me pay my bills, and put food on the table. I didn't plan on having to do it as often as I did. Now I owe $1206.00 and I don't know what to do. The IRS recommends taking out a loan and paying it that way because it is cheaper. But my credit is not good and no one will give me a loan even though I can pay it back each month. I don't know what to do. im kinda scared because I never had to deal with the IRS before its very scary! haha.. I just wish I could get a loan, family won't co-sign (they are old fashioned) I don't have parents to help me, so im on my own and it sucks. Any advice or a way to help would be greatly appreciated. I filed to pay on it, but now I will be charged interest, penatlies and anything else the IRS feels they want to throw at me. Oh I am at such a loss...
