Sociologists have measured popularity of the Ukrainian politicians, capable to apply for a post of the president. To head the state the leader of opposition party of regions Victor Janukovich who much more has outstripped the nearest persecutor – Yulia Timoshenko has the highest chances.


Sociological research to the period was spent from April, 1 till April, 9th by company Research&Branding Group. Its employees have interrogated 2078 respondents at the age from 18 years. Results of research have been published on Tuesday, on April, 14th. According to the received data, for Victor Janukovicha 27,9 % of Ukrainians, and for Yulia Timoshenko – 15,6 % are ready to vote. We will notice that in the beginning of February rupture between it politicians was not such big. Then the party leader of regions was supported by 21,2 %, and the Ukrainian prime minister – 17,7 %, transfers RIA Novosti news agency.


The third place in a rating of the most popular politicians of Ukraine was kept by the former speaker of the Supreme Rada Arseny Jatsenjuk. If in February to it 11 % of respondents in April this quantity has grown to 13,4 % wished to vote.


At the same time the trust to present head of the state Victor Yushchenko has decreased practically to record marks. So, two months ago the president of Ukraine would like to select again on the same post of 2,3 % of inhabitants of the country. However now for Yushchenko 1,9 % of respondents that below a statistical error on 2,2 % wish to vote only.
