Smokin Ed's BBQ
April 25, 2009 | Hixson, Tennessee | Vetting explained
I was on a business trip in this small town just outside of Chattanooga, TN and asked someone where I could find some decent BBQ. I was told to go out to this old train depot and look for a place called Smokin' Ed's.
I found it, and went in to grab some food. I left there knowing without a doubt in my mind that I had just ate the greatest BBQ on the face of the planet. Ed, the owner has been smoking meat for quite a few number of years now. He and his wife run the place. It has 3 tables, so it is small on the inside. It is not a quick lunch, but nothing great ever comes about quick anyway. They have their kids with them to. I found that kind of interesting as well. It is as if they are inviting you into their home for lunch.
Ribs - fall off the bone incredible
Wings - smokey and tender
Sandwiches - AMAZING
This place is heaven on earth for any BBQ fan period.
