Swine Flu question

Hello Dr. Gupta
My question for you concerns the swine flu virus, we know that pork has some fatal parasites associated with the meat if not properly frozen/heated, but I'm wondering about the spreading of a virus through uncooked meat? I doubt that it's possible. Also with such high concentrations of swine in areas, and we know that pigs usually are the culprit that take animal viiruses and mutate them so that humans can be infected, are areas with high swine populations at higher risk for pig mutated viruses? And would it not be better to slughter the pigs and decrease the amount of pork that people eat because excessive eating or pork has been linked to colon cancer in the past? Is the meat bad to eat because pigs do not have sweat glands so that all the toxins that would be released actually stay in the pig? Sorry if I'm confusing, I have a lot of questions.
