One of my favorite shows, Chuck is endanger of being canceled from NBC (Mondays 8PM). For me, Chuck has my brand of humor. The "nerdier" characters occassionally speak in movie quotes (ie. "I'm institutionalized", "I know it was you Morgan"), video game/electronics humor (beating Missle Command to get an encoded missle code) and strange awkwardness ("playing Mr. Roboto at a wedding").

But more than the humor, it's about an ordinary guy who doesn't know what he wants out of life, who was unfortunately content with just playing video games, but destiny forces him to take on responsibilities, become more outgoing and realize his potential.

Background

Chuck is a spy comedy/drama about an ordinary guy named Chuck (Zachary Levi) who opens an email attachment from his old college roommate that's filled with encoded images that reprogram his brain into a intelligence super computer called "The Intersect" (combined CIA and NSA data).

Any time Chuck sees something of security interest, he flashes, which makes him an invaluable asset to missions of national security.

The government has sent two agents, NSA Agent John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and CIA Agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski), to protect Chuck as he continues his "cover" life working at the Buy More as part of their Nerd Herd repair squad.
