They came early this year...the baboons that is!
May 22, 2008 | Cape Town, South Africa | Vetting explained
The baboon troupes of Cape Town sometimes come down off the mountains and into the suburbs near the end of winter when food runs short. But yesterday, they came right at the start of winter - and on garbage collection day for our local suburb. Only they got to the garbage before the garbage trucks!
Happily no-one was hurt - just a lot of mess ensued.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
