We Want Jobs!
May 5, 2009 | Washington, District of Columbia | Vetting explained
In a difficult economy too often we hear politicians and elected officials talking about the 40 year old workers who have been pushed out of the workforce and how we must work to save them with new tech training.
As a generation that has that tech training, we can attest that it doesn't matter. Millennials have unbelievable experience with technology and connectivity, yet we have the highest unemployment rate of any generation at 33%.
Why do elected officials ignore our needs?
We'll duscuss it all this summer with a summit for youth. Attend the launch on May 7th and learn more.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
