iReport —

I was reading "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson, and he mentioned the 1918 Spanish Influenza that killed an estimated 70-100 million people worldwide. The strain of flu was H1N1 - then, and now also called "Swine Flu". Bryson ironically stated, "who knows if this flu will ever resurface - and what will the impact be?" Here we are - facing the largest biological epidemic that mankind has ever faced.

etc. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned on mainstream news.
